AI Policy & Guidelines

AI Content guidelines for our community

Date: 03.07.2023

As an internationally recognized publication, we pride ourselves on being a platform where experts from around the world can share knowledge and contribute to the global discourse in their respective fields. We value originality, integrity, and quality in our content and seek contributions that uphold these values.

Recently, the emergence of generative AI technologies has begun to change the landscape of content creation. These technologies offer exciting opportunities to improve the writing process. However, we also recognize that we need guidelines to ensure content quality and authenticity. Here are our guidelines on this topic:

1. Expertise is Key

Authors should bring their own knowledge and experience to the articles they write. Generative AI tools can help formulate and improve the text, but should not replace the author’s own expertise and analysis.

Remember: You are the expert, and our readers value your unique insights and perspectives.

2. Emphasis on Quality over Quantity

Our focus is on rewarding high-quality content, regardless of how it is created. Whether an article is written solely by a human or with the help of AI, quality is most important. We discourage the mass production of low-quality, AI-generated content and encourage thoughtful, well-researched contributions.

3. E-A-T: Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness

In line with Google’s ranking systems, we value content that demonstrates E-A-T: expertise, authoritativeness, and trustworthiness. We recommend that authors apply these principles when they create content, whether they’re using AI-generated content or not.

4. Responsible AI Use

While AI can be a helpful tool in content creation, it should not be used to create spam content. Misusing AI in this way violates our content guidelines, so such articles will never be published or removed.

5. AI as Co-Creator, Not Sole Creator

While we recognize the value AI brings to the content creation process, we refuse to list AI as the sole author of an article. The expertise, critical analysis, and unique perspective of our human authors cannot be replicated by AI.

We look forward to seeing how our authors use AI to improve their work and share their kowledge with the world. We are confident that these guidelines will help maintain the high standards of quality and integrity for which our publication is known.
